GWB has proven time and again that he is one step ahead of his opponents politically. I'm betting that this plays out the same way....
The only reason GWB has outwitted political opponents in the past is because they were liberals who are even dumber than he is. This time, the opposition to GWB's nomination of Miers is led by true conservatives... [Volokh]
