Affair helps Dave
Perhaps David Letterman should root around in his closet and see if he has any more skeletons to reveal.
Turns out that -- rather than hurt him -- Letterman's confession that he had affairs with several women on his staff has helped his ratings.
"It doesn't appear to have hurt him and likely got him more sampling," Bill Carroll, vp and director of programming at consulting firm Katz Television Group, told The Hollywood Reporter.
... since Oct. 1, when Letterman shocked his audience with the news he was allegedly being extorted over the affair, his audience has gone up by about 13 percent. [NY Post]
